Overview
The highest AAMI liquid-barrier rating for fabrics used in high-risk procedures. AAMI Level 4 gown fabrics withstand more fluid exposure than Level 3, including larger amounts of blood splatter, and resist contaminated liquids and viruses. They pass ASTM F1670 and ASTM F1671.
BODYGARD gown fabrics at Level 3 and Level 4 are made from a breathable, textile-like spunbond material that is comfortable to wear. Surface treatment repels low-tension fluids, and a hydrophobic version is available for added protection against strike-through.
